The Crafthouse Shop provides an outlet for the display and sale of contemporary, and leading edge fine crafts. Crafthouse provides craft-related information and education to the CABC membership, general public, professionals in the visual arts community, and craftspeople.

The Crafthouse Shop aims to be self-supporting in its promotion of craft.

The Crafthouse Shop offers a broad range of craft in a variety of media, including clay, fibre, glass, metal, wood and mixed media. The work, all selected by jury, represents a broad range of styles and prices (from $5 wooden spinning tops to $2500 tables). The Shop accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB. Purchases can be packaged for travel or for shipping worldwide.

The Crafthouse Shop further provides the following:

• A referral system both for customers desiring to commission work and to other shops and galleries wishing to represent a craftsperson’s work. A computer generated list of all Crafthouse artisans, alphabetized by code number or medium, is available for sale at $25.00
• Facilitates corporate and incentive gifts of a more special nature, especially those with a local BC flavour
• Supports other non-profit ventures by occasionally selling work and donating the proceeds to that venture
• Promotes the work of member craftspeople in a variety of ways including coordinating off site displays on Robson St., Pacific Centre Shopping centre, Virgin Records and the Vancouver International Airport
• Provides volunteer opportunities for those interested in customer service and sales. Volunteers are an integral part of the Crafthouse Shop - information can be obtained by contacting the Shop Manager
• Maintains a client list for those wanting information on special events, new products and exhibit announcements in the Crafthouse Shop. To be put on the mailing list contact us by email with your name, address and phone number and email address.
