Moira Greaven is a biologist with a keen interest in natural history and in particular, plants and plant ecology. She is dedicated to habitat conservation and the promotion of environmental stewardship for sustainable environments and communities. As an instructor on Wetland Stewardship, B.C. Coastal Native Plants, Native Ferns, and Wetlands, she seeks to increase awareness and appreciation of plants, and, in particular, B.C. native plants in their habitats.

She hopes that her framed botanical art created through Botanical ImPRESSions will invite people to 'look closely' and appreciate plant diversity as seen in the intricate forms and variety of colours of plants in their different life stages. Continually inspired by the flora that surrounds us, both native and exotic, her botanical art provides an opportunity to "Bring nature indoors".
