Fragments of machines, bones, shells, clocks and computer panels become the materials for creative expression. The finished jewellery is usually considerably abstracted from the original creative stimulus. For example, leaves and feathers that I find may be used to roller emboss or imprint metal. The textured material may then be used in a design based on the idea of flight, or the shape of a falling leaf.
