Artist’s
Statement
My
Life, interrupted by war, led me in a new direction; leaving me with
emotional pools of unresolved human relationships, lost contacts and an
absurd feeling of attachment to something non-existent.
My
art forms are a record of my life. Each piece tells a story about my
every day experiences, as much as my extraordinary ones, much like a
diary or sketch book. With a use of symbolism, popular images and text,
I unrevealed a personal vision about today's culture and my place in it.
The
esthetic that I am drawn to derives from a number of sourses. I am
constantly inspired by visual culture: Historic and contemporary
paintings, illustration, architecture and films. I look at urban
images, as well as the natural landscape and the interaction of the two.
